A Better Test for Human Papillomavirus

ScienceDaily (Mar. 22, 2011) — A new test for human papillomavirus (HPV) is just as sensitive as the old one, but more specific for detecting cervical cancer, meaning that it has fewer false positive results, according to a paper in the February 2011 Journal of Clinical Microbiology.
